You're right, there is some debate on the subject. It could have been a myth created to show how the kingdom was full of devout Buddhists. But I guess some of the Heo clan claim to be descendants of the princess. :)
Interesting to hear that Karak Chai is also the name of a tea in Hyderabad. :D
