With their 2-0 home victory today over Yokohama FC, SaganTosu have secured second position and promotion to the Japanese first division, J-league, next season.
What does this mean for SaganTosu?
Of course, first must come celebration and congratulations on such an achievement. SaganTosu is a team with very humble beginnings, and promoting to the J-League has been a distant dream for the most part. Their loyal supporters can only hope that they fare better in J1 than their counterparts Avispa Fukuoka, who have had a tough season this year in J1 after promoting. But for the moment, OMEDETOU SAGANTOSU!!
Their Hattrick shadow-team, the Jumbucks, will attempt to make the most of their recent promotion to division II in Japan, drawing on the inspirational performances of SaganTosu.
