Ron Manager was delighted to lead his team to the title when playing in IV for the first time. Frognal led all the way during the season and clinched the League on the longest day, holding the top spot on goal difference. Frognal Wanderers were only promoted to IV.56 this season following the great escape, with expectations for survival rather than winning the division, it is expect that a repeat of the feat next season may prove to be a bridge too far.
Manager was quick to comment that White Swan pushed Wanderers all the way, and in fact, the two teams were only separated by one goal. He added "I expect White Swan to push us again next season; it will be interesting to see whether they have the legs to go that extra mile and take it back. You don't get too many days of glory, so you just have to enjoy it when the bell tolls"
