12-05-2013 Preseason Friendly
Newstead Rovers met lysdexic Untied in a preseason friendly today. When asked how he thought his side went, a somber Paul_Atreides had this to say:
"Overall the boys played well and got the result but we were lacking in midfield today. Untied controlled the middle which made it tough on us. Similar story to last season and it could cost is this season. Some strong teams out there."
When asked about whether there were some changes planned there was an emphatic no.
"We don't have money for that"
The press conference moved on to lysdexic and Paul's thoughts on their chances in Div III
"Untied thoroughly deserve their spot in III. They have a great squad and will be tough to beat. They have a cunning manager in Cyntech and I suspect they will survive and do well"
