16-04-2013 Cotchin ready for battle
Cotchin FC today held their last training session before tomorrow's final of the Oceanian Cup. The final will boast two PP teams for the first time since season 16 and the winner will be the first from the PP since South Hooligans won it back in season 23.
The game promises to be a beauty with both teams close to full strength and in top form. The only player unavailable for selection is the desperately unlucky Jochem Bokenbarg who last night failed in his appeal against Sunday's controversial red card.
"It's heartbreaking for Bok, but he's the ultimate clubman and has been amazingly upbeat all things considered." explained Cotchin Captain Javier Puig Leal. "I missed our last Cup final through injury myself so I know exactly what he's going through. I just hope Bok someday gets another opportunity like the one I've been blessed with tomorrow. I feel extremely fortunate to have another shot at it and am humbled to lead our club into battle in such a massive game. Bring it on!"
