16-02-2013 Jose Mourinho joins Manchester United!
As of today 16/02/2013, Jose Mourinho (252881407) takes over from Remo Lindner (39419495) at Manchester United. On his unveiling as Manchester United coach, Mourinho reminds everyone of his abilities: “Please don`t call me arrogant, but I`m a defence-minded coach with excellent coaching skills and solid leadership, and I think I`m a special one.”
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United have maintained that Jose Mourinho was always their No 1 choice, and Anthony Constantinou underlined that view by paying ~3.5 million Euros for Real Madrid to release him from his contract as coach.
In an interview with BBC Sport Mourinho added: "We have top players and, sorry if I'm arrogant, we have a top coach."
According to reports from English newspaper The Times, Mourinho will be given a five-year contract at the Manchester club.
