Butterflies to clear house!
After their relegation from the Irish Prem yesterday The Drunken Butterflies owner decided it was time to rebuild the club and immediately began to clean house with most of the squad now surplus to requirements. The club would like to thank the players for their contributions but it was clear they were in freefall and it was best for all to immediately usher in a new phase in club's history. The club would like to congratulate Mutts Nutts on winning the title on what was a thrilling final series of matches and wish the best of luck to all for next season.

Cup Final
Rivals for the Premiership runner up spot turn their attention to the Cup Final in Galway tonight. Will the Butterflies appearing in their first final go one step further and take the trophy back to Cork or will current holders and cup specialist extraordinares Traders extend their run to 22 consecutive victories to retain the trophy? With two league meetings already this season resulting in just one point for Traders the pyschological edge must surely lie with the Butterflies but with two very evenly matched teams who can really predict the outcome of this latest contest.

I'm a lepidopterist and I don't care....
Yep, its true what is said about me. But now that my collection is complete, its time for me to come out. Finally pinned a red admiral yesterday. Which was a complete different experience to that Painted Lady I had last week - costly, but well worth it.

Shared Experience
Following my sisters recent match up with AWESOMO, I was torn about what to do. On the one hand, I wanted to experience what she felt for myself. On the other, I wanted to progress further. Despite initial resistance, I think my sub conscious worked against me. In the end, I submitted. While I didn't actually receive the thorough pounding I secretly wanted, I did get a sense of the joy she felt. I feel this shared experience has brought us closer together.

Butterflies live it up in Schweden
Butterflies ended a lacklustre season in style with an emphatic 7-0 victory in Sweden. The first team squad stayed behind for a well deserved rest and pre-season training camp.
The youth squad however have returned to Cork to represent the club in next weeks testimonial for The Bulldogs AFC's Gabriel Belmonte.
On a final note congrats to Castlebar FC on winning IV.2 and best of luck to them in their upcoming qualifier.

Jano storms out in a rage!
On the eve of another season in IV.2 Butterflies coach Jesus Jano stormed out of press conference when the assembled press alleged that last seasons triumph was no more than a fluke with lady luck guiding Butterflies all the way to the title. " Realisitically you cannot expect to contend with the might of the divisions heavyweights" were the final words uttered by The Daily Sport's chief reporter Detective Dick Halligan before Jano stormed out in an (alleged) drunken rage. Tick tock, tick tock

Butterfiles land on flowers…
Then rightly get stomped on by the jackbooted feet of a very strong Darkside Utd team, was the option of the public in a one sided affair. “The violence of the attack on the Butterflies defence was awful… and they were ‘such brutes’ about it too” said Queen Butterfly Keith_H, before fluttering off threatening China with, “storms” if they ever cross-dressed or crossed him again…

Butterfly boys beaten.
In a scintillating HFHT match between Darkside
And Butterfiles on Wednesday Darkside proved
Much the stronger side.
Going ahead early on
And then sitting back and letting the
Young butterfly boys come at them.
”Alle zu einfach” said Darkside’s Rottemier after the match.

A few short announcements
The club would like to welcome their new 17 yr old Bulgarian trainee Ivan Gorchilov.
We also would like to thank JVeldman and Fella Rovers F.C for their recent visit to the Butterfly Arena in what was a thrilling encounter for the return of club legend Jimmy Quinn.
Extra police have been added for the game against Lazyhorse11 on Wednesday. We have no further comment at the moment but do express our concern about a recent PA from Lazyhorse11 fanning the flames of hatred.
