When asked about the Wonders' dismal performance in tonight's Cup game, Clueless owner volchase responded: "We had a game tonight? As I was leaving the pub, I had a feeling I'd forgotten something...."
"I am proud of the guys who did show-up. And - I guess I can't blame them for not taking the game seriously - after having to take up a collection amongst themselves prior to the game for ref fees," added volchase.
"I've been expecting the other shoe to drop all season ... I just didn't realize that I'd also be shooting myself in the foot!," he quipped. This reporter and the Wonders' supporters certainly don't see the humor.
