With Lincoln having exited the cup last week with a 2-0 loss in round 6, one round short of their run last season, WEST LONDON DEVILS were the only team from Series IV.18 left in the competition.
Although their form in the league has been indifferent, they can take pride in reaching this stage of the cup and that run may continue even longer.
MattB: "We're a little disappointed to go out of the cup. We thought we'd use our counter-attacking ability to beat our opponent's midfield but little did we know that they would use the same tactics. Even so, at home I would've expected us to score and thought it should've been a closer match but we had a good run so I can't fault our performance this season".
"Devils have had a decent draw for the next round, they're another good division 4 side so it should be a close match but, unfortunately, I think home advantage will swing it in their favour. I will be cheering for WEST LONDON DEVILS though".
