Domkowitsch left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. pacello had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 27 minutes in when H. Buffat came up alone against N. Spignoli who managed a block. The corner kick from A. Ramírez was powerfully met by the head of I. Lora to make the score 0 - 1. pacello's A. Bisazza made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 35 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Halftime score was 0 - 1. F.C.Football claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

With 73 minutes played, pacello's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to D. de Gracia he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 2. By now, the players in pacello felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. G. Apostolov was called on to replace pacello's I. Lora after 82 minutes following a nasty collision. F.C.Football players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. F.C.Football had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

E. Füzi performed admirably for F.C.Football. N. Spignoli on the other hand, had a terrible day. pacello's best player was A. Bisazza. G. Apostolov turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
