The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 18 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from B. Ille, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as FROG's P. Tonti put the ball in the onion bag after 27 minutes to make it 2 - 2. With 31 minutes played, A. Olsen of FROG fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. S. Cappelli was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a FROG counterattack from the left after 38 minutes. His neat finish made the score 2 - 3. It was 2 - 3 at the break. FK JH had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

A handball in the penalty area gave the home team a penalty 57 minutes into the match, and I. Bruinsma was able to score, taking the scoreline to 3 - 3. As the 60 minute mark approached, the FK JH coach decided it was time for a substitution. H. Schwägerl reluctantly made way for E. Claesson on the pitch. Making his way up the middle 66 minutes into the match, D. Dal Ponte almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert O. Hereu blocked it to keep the score level. FK JH's M. Rankov tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. Many thought B. Vojáček ought to have been awarded a penalty 69 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around O. Hereu after a determined run through the middle. They were singing the praises of B. Vojáček 72 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 4 - 3 to FK JH. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by FK JH, with 62 percent of the ball.

The most dominating FK JH player was without a doubt B. Vojáček. D. Dal Ponte on the other hand, had a terrible day. FROG's top performer was clearly P. Tonti. A. García was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 3.
