Confident in their lead, bannati's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. It was 0 - 5 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by bannati, with 87 percent of the ball.

With 51 minutes played, bannati put themselves up 0 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was O. Roininen. 60 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 7 as S. Jolie finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. With 64 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed S. Jolie of bannati to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 8. After 68 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave V. Cifre a chance to increase the lead for bannati, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 9. With 78 minutes played, bannati's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to J. Poulin he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 10. bannati had most of the ball, with 88 percent of possession.

S. Garau performed admirably for Fudditto. C. Deruvo turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important bannati player was S. Jolie. D. Resa was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 10.
