Selleri broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Compagnia, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Compagnia's H. Daaden was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 20 minutes. Against a lesser team, Compagnia could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 33 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. M. Poštić finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 34 minutes into the match. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to fe1907, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

With 56 minutes gone, fe1907 had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, M. Poštić did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. M. Venanzi wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. 68 minutes into the match and the home team took a 2 - 1 lead after breaking through on the left. Widerhult found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 2 - 2. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when G. Vizioli slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against G. Toffanello, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Compagnia coach decided it was time for a substitution. L. Selleri reluctantly made way for S. Crisby on the pitch. A. Comina hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving fe1907's M. Poštić an easy chance to knock it in for 2 - 3. After 86 minutes, M. Fabbricatore got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away. E. Farro of fe1907 seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 4 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by S. Gold. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

Most important Compagnia player was A. Bono. G. Toffanello was a disappointment, however. fe1907's best player was S. Gold. T. Widerhult on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 4.
