The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 4701 had shown up at R.C.D. Baltanás Arena for the match. Torák was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from COLONIA's defence 37 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 0 - 3. The players of COLONIA now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Baltanás's E. Bartolomé was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 40 minutes. The COLONIA free kick 41 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of T. Gacitua had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 83 minutes having been played. L. Villanueva was the replacement. Some fine movement on the left led to a COLONIA goal after 84 minutes, making it 0 - 8. K. Nedvídek was noted down as the scorer. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave F. Veening from COLONIA a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 85 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by COLONIA, with 72 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Baltanás player was without a doubt E. Bartolomé. However, S. Corbacho made a disastrous appearance. COLONIA's top performer was clearly K. Matsier. M. Venè was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
