40319 punters turned up at
Vålerenga's Lekegrind!, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Paulo Isidoro Varela Jr. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Torben Lyse Hansen and
Henny Vandaele.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for DJPJ.
Starters: Gaskin - Fioppo, Grints, Faran - da Laracha, Madsen, Reales, Tatti, Cummins - Rădoi, Jespersson.
Black had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Barros - Kaleel, Treutlein, Botez - Andersen, Dallind, Bechstrøm, Moens, Anacker - Piemontese, Blandengue.
DJPJ used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings.
Black's
J. Andersen got himself booked for a foul.
A mistake by the home side's central defence after 20 minutes allowed
N. Kaleel to score for Black. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1.
Black's
G. Piemontese was shown a yellow card after 21 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
Black's
G. Piemontese made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 23 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line.
After 29 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
F. Treutlein a chance to increase the lead for Black, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2.
The referee showed Black's
J. Dallind the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
0 - 2 was the score after the first half.
Black claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Black goal after 60 minutes, making it 0 - 3.
J. Andersen was noted down as the scorer.
After this, you could see that the players of Black were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
After 69 minutes of game time,
M. Anacker had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but
S. Gaskin was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner.
DJPJ's
J. Jespersson was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 79 minutes.
After 80 minutes, Black sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
G. Piemontese, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 0 - 4.
With 83 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
H. Moens of Black to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 5.
Possession in this half belonged to Black, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.
Most important DJPJ player was
J. Jespersson.
V. Fioppo turned in a dismal performance, however.
The most dominating Black player was without a doubt
G. Piemontese.
However,
D. Barros made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 0 - 5.
