Uutinen, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. Many thought T. Korsholm ought to have been awarded a penalty 9 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around J. Bisgaard Jensen after a determined run through the middle. It wasn't a pretty goal, but the free kick by T. Korsholm after 10 minutes somehow found its way past the keeper. vsk-veitvet takes the lead, 1 - 0! The home side's J. Egaña came close to extending the lead 30 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but J. Bisgaard Jensen managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. vsk-veitvet's P. Moyano placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but M. Arent couldn't finish. It was 1 - 0 at the break. vsk-veitvet claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

vsk-veitvet solidified their lead at the 54 minute mark, as P. Moyano dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. At this point, it was obvious that the players of vsk-veitvet lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by A. Cerveira. At last, mumsey's E. Everaert was able to backheel the ball in. 2 - 1. T. Korsholm increased vsk-veitvet's lead to 3 - 1 with a penalty spot cannonball. With 67 minutes played, vsk-veitvet's L. Løvaas almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. With 68 minutes played, J. Uutinen had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by vsk-veitvet, with 60 percent of the ball.

vsk-veitvet's best player was J. Egaña. R. Silva Souto was a disappointment, however. Most important mumsey player was O. Lundberg. M. Cabra on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 1.
