Clear skies welcomed the 12000 spectators who had made their way to
Knastsport Arena.

Jorge Feliz and
Adolf Šlampa.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Santafu.
Lineup: Schleevogt - Marburger, Baerwolff, Pfnür, Balseven - Groess, Stransky, Weinfurter, Glaubrecht - Thalauer, Holschbach.
Marcel tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
They fielded: Lieskounig - Dziadczyk, Kronabitter, Lupinen, Karn - Vinnhorst, Taubeneck, Schellbruch, Jarić - Kospoth, Voeroesmarty.
Santafu took the lead 6 minutes in, as
R. Baerwolff broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper.
After 7 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 1 - 1 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by
A. Vinnhorst.
K. Groess managed to make an excellent pass from the flank, but
S. Holschbach was not as skillfull in scoring.
With 29 minutes played,
E. Weinfurter of Santafu fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
After 31 minutes,
E. Weinfurter came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving Santafu the lead.
After 38 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
R. Baerwolff might have resulted in another goal for Santafu. However,
M. Lieskounig made a spectacular save.
Halftime score was 2 - 1.
Santafu claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 68 percent.
E. Marburger increased the lead for Santafu to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
By now, the players in Santafu felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
E. Marburger unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide.
84 minutes into the game, Santafu were awarded a penalty that
E. Marburger turned into 4 - 1 without a problem.
Santafu had most of the ball, with 69 percent of possession.
Santafu's best player was
M. Stransky.
On the other hand,
D. Schleevogt's play was disheartening.
The most dominating Marcel player was without a doubt
L. Jarić.
W. Taubeneck on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 4 - 1.
