The following players had been chosen: Grafenauer - Rotkreuz, Bächlers, Springe, Schäfler - Magdanz, Blankart, Zöphel, Sretenović - Seidberger, Sadler.
FC BE had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
Lineup: Packmohr - Schabenberger, Goericke, Mannhardt, Melzer - Kuepach, Hiebeler, Landgraf, Kannegießer - Mühlhölzer, Eschner.
Harse took the lead 20 minutes into the match after a magnificent free kick by
L. Rotkreuz that made the score 1 - 0.
W. Blankart was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Harse's
T. Seidberger managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 2 - 0
M. Zöphel unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide.
W. Blankart behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 27 minutes as he gave the ball away to
E. Landgraf. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
With 28 minutes played, Harse's
T. Sadler almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net.
T. Sadler should probably have put his team up another goal after 31 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
B. Packmohr kept the visitors in the game.
2 - 0 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Harse, with 63 percent of the ball.
M. Grafenauer made a brilliant save 48 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from
G. Mannhardt on the right hand side.
After 58 minutes, Harse's
L. Rotkreuz found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 3 - 0.
A great save by keeper
B. Packmohr after 70 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
T. Sadler struck from the left with a real cannonball.
73 minutes in,
B. Eschner made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but
M. Grafenauer refused to let the ball slip by him.

J. Hiebeler got himself booked for a foul.
Harse's
W. Blankart went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention.

However,
B. Packmohr made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 3 - 0.
