The crowd of 5113 turning up at Bonio Team Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Peer-Augustin Meininger was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Valery Khairov and Ángel Atarés. Bonio tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Lineup: Kajpust - Małas, Wasieczko, Zawada, Zadylak - Dziekoński, Kieć, Pelak, Rakus - Ciborowski, Kłonowski.

Grall started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. The following players took the field: Hanczár - Van Loon, Oyuela - Pattschull, Gryglas, Biffino, Cabański, Holák - Clejanu, Lindegaard, Højfeldt.

Grall used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. B. Cabański had a good try after 25 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. Grall's G. Højfeldt gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 33 minutes with a superb strike from the right. W. Kieć was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! After 36 minutes of play, W. Kieć equalised for Bonio after an elegant attack from the right. B. Pelak did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. Bonio's M. Dziekoński left the field after 42 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was W. Mocek. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grall, with 51 percent of the ball.

49 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but G. Højfeldt, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. 56 minutes into the game, G. Van Loon had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. They were singing the praises of W. Kieć 65 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 2 - 1 to Bonio. The visitors didn't give in and, after 77 minutes, V. Lindegaard got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 2 - 2. 78 minutes into the match Grall's E. Oyuela couldn't take advantage of the penalty kick to put his team up by a goal. Bonio enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Bonio's best player was W. Kieć. On the other hand, W. Mocek's play was disheartening. G. Van Loon performed admirably for Grall. Š. Holák turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 2.
