previous 10/10 next 2/10  Bryggen 3 - 3 Mabuhay (373882068)

Dark skies made the crowd of 48179 at The Red Castle a little nervous, but the rain held off. Raphaël Barzin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Lars Loebbeke and Kasper Lemmens. People from all over København had joined up for the derby. Bryggen tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Starters: Matussin - Clark, Gravesen, Mák - Reh, Raun, Čapljić, Malle, Małecki - Knudsen, Ruzau.

Mabuhay decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Ayora - Chibulunje, Megyeri, Irigoyen - Del Castello, Djurhuus, Weisbjerg, Hedeland, Synnes - Boelt, Mureithi.

Bryggen could have put themselves ahead after 4 minutes but P. Knudsen missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. Mabuhay had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 10 minutes in when R. Weisbjerg came up alone against A. Matussin who managed a block. Bryggen's P. Knudsen tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 16 minutes in, Mabuhay's L. Hedeland received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Bryggen were forced into a substitution as I. Mák couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing A. Huttinger to come in off the bench. T. Gravesen caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 18 minutes. This gave Bryggen the 1 - 0 lead. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 22 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when R. Weisbjerg tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Bryggen, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

The crowd was silenced 56 minutes into the match as the visiting team's P. Chibulunje came in from the left, levelling the score to 1 - 1. Bryggen took the lead 71 minutes into the game by 2 - 1, as A. Malle elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. The bench was restless, and with 73 minutes passed Mabuhay's coach gave A. Šiškan the opportunity the player had been hoping for. V. Irigoyen reluctantly left the field. Mabuhay tied it all up, 73 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by J. Synnes, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 2 - 2. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 81 minutes into the match left Mabuhay's R. Weisbjerg completely free to score. 2 - 3 for the visitors. Bryggen's W. Reh put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 3 - 3 with 82 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. Bryggen claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

Most important Bryggen player was J. Raun. M. Małecki turned in a dismal performance, however. Mabuhay's best player was B. Boelt. However, F. Megyeri made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 3.
