fag tried to focus their attacks down the middle. K. Dieussart, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. Preachers's L. Vonbank placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but A. Comes couldn't finish. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 38 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from P. Helbing, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Preachers had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

Given a free kick close to the byline, Preachers tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let M. Mäenniemi slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 0, 65 minutes into the game. Preachers increased the lead as J. Garoz struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. The coach of Preachers was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 66 minutes, P. Vīns came on for P. Helbing. Encouraged by their lead, after 66 minutes the Preachers coach asked P. Vīns to change positions with N. Hippenstiel. fag's K. Dieussart was shown a yellow card after 67 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Preachers were worse off though, as P. Louwagie was unable to finish the game and no more substitutes were available! Preachers enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

The most dominating Preachers player was without a doubt N. Kaldrup. N. Hippenstiel was a disappointment, however. fag's top performer was clearly J. Matsson. On the other hand, K. Dieussart's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 0.
