The 39913 fans in attendance at Park Rudara were roasting in the hot sun. Anjar Widodo Listiantoro was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Claudio Castellini and Fedot Kutumov. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Rudar33. The following players took the field: Judys - Aldana, Bagarić, Perroud - Kausti, Patyra, Cavaliere, Godschalk, Ayala - Areggo, van Wezep.

Pandora had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 9 minutes in when D. Stuparu came up alone against N. Judys who managed a block. E. Cavaliere's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. Given a free kick close to the byline, Pandora tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let D. Stuparu slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 1, 24 minutes into the game. The home crowd cheered when, after 29 minutes, W. Zastrow's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Ľ. Kriha could have put his team up another goal 39 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. The referee showed Pandora's J. Açougueiro the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After the ball was lifted in from the left, P. Francardelli was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 42 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Pandora had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed Rudar33's coach gave R. Sarmento the opportunity the player had been hoping for. J. Kausti reluctantly left the field. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Rudar33's R. van Wezep was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 65 minutes. N. Basta was given a chance to change things around. Rudar33 needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 70 minutes H. Godschalk made way for G. Pinares. After 77 minutes Rudar33's R. Sarmento limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. After 81 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for W. Zastrow who increased Pandora's lead to 0 - 2. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Pandora lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The visitors' Ľ. Kriha took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 82 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for Pandora. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Pandora coach let T. Arnautović replace J. Açougueiro after 83 minutes. M. Ávila wanted to play on, but the Pandora coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 83 minutes into the game by É. Goncalves. The Pandora captaincy was handed to J. Espanhol. D. Sarnataro left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 83 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. S. Aiazzone was the replacement. With the scoreboard showing that 85 minutes had been played, Pandora nearly put themselves up another goal after Ľ. Kriha came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Pandora enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

M. Ayala performed admirably for Rudar33. However, E. Cavaliere made a disastrous appearance. Pandora's top performer was clearly Ľ. Kriha. T. Arnautović was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
