Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and ISS Stadiaon saw a crowd turnout of 59000. It was an obvious ambition of PK-35 to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of HotStreak. After 14 minutes, K. Turjeman sent the corner kick right to T. Langenfelde who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 1! After 16 minutes HotStreak nearly put themselves up another goal from a penalty taken by K. Turjeman, but the keeper made an unbelievable save. PK-35 put pressure on the visitors' central defence 17 minutes into the game, but C. Aubard couldn't find an opening. Players in PK-35 heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. PK-35's A. Drăghescu made an attempt at equalising 18 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. PK-35's D. Verchère got himself booked for a foul. A. Badea was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a HotStreak counterattack from the left after 31 minutes. His neat finish made the score 0 - 2. P. Matei of HotStreak took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 36 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. J. Redomero almost reduced the deficit, having drawn the entire left side defence away, but the shot went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to PK-35, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

After 58 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave M. Bruna a chance to increase the lead for HotStreak, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. A counterattack by HotStreak after 67 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but T. Langenfelde, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. K. Turjeman was, after 77 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper E. Petry made the save. The visitors' P. Matei took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 81 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for HotStreak. The players of HotStreak now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. PK-35 had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

Most important PK-35 player was C. Aubard. E. Petry turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating HotStreak player was without a doubt A. Badea. However, J. Ahonzo made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 5.
