Things were deteriorating for the away team as ARDEA scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for F. Kirchgasser after 34 minutes. At this point, it was obvious that the players of ARDEA lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. ARDEA's E. Nicolau's long shot really ought to have found the net 38 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. It was 2 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to ARDEA, who controlled the ball 71 percent of the time.

Tutugi had to make a substitution after 49 minutes. L. Igal limped off the field and was replaced by H. Molloy. E. Nicolau wanted to play on, but the ARDEA coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by L. Ibros. The ARDEA players could smell victory in the air. F. Bernardelli wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for J. Jiménez after 60 minutes. H. Perosa was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 70 minutes. ARDEA's L. Ibros struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 4 - 0 after 75 minutes. ARDEA were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 79 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by L. Ibros. 5 - 0 for the home side. Tutugi's D. Orfão was shown a yellow card after 80 minutes for slicing down an opponent. L. Ibros struck a 30 metre free kick home 81 minutes into the match. 6 - 0 for the home team. This third goal completed a hattrick for L. Ibros. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ARDEA, with 74 percent of the ball.

ARDEA's best player was L. Ibros. P. Sansi turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Tutugi player was without a doubt R. Sierra. H. Molloy was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 0.
