Kanonbluss 0 - 1 Hammerseng
(379685590)

02-06-2012 16.00
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Yokohama Stadium saw a crowd turnout of 64467.
Bernard Slangen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Nikolaj Agger Pedersen and
Rolf Sand.
Kanonbluss had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation.
They fielded: Maccalli - De Pelseneer, Aventura, Cholerzyński - Aytar, Pajer, Tardío, Årseth - Lemm, Kolčeg, bin Emoi.
Hammerseng decided to use a 5-4-1 set up.
Starters: de Visser - Birkenes, Hamer, Stallknecht, Pedersen, Tudor - Forcadell, Mayol, Kolnik, Nygaard - Ignat.
Kanonbluss took a creative approach on the field.
Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Hammerseng.
The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 0.
Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.
E. Maccalli looked great 63 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors'
A. Birkenes.
The visitors were very close to gaining the lead with a marvellous free kick after 66 minutes, but
E. Maccalli made a beautiful one-handed save.
The guests almost went up by a goal after 69 minutes when
C. Ignat came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
C. Stallknecht from Hammerseng a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 71 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Under heavy pressure after 72 minutes, the inexperienced Hammerseng struggled to maintain their level of play.
Kanonbluss were very close to putting themselves one up after 73 minutes as
R. Pajer got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kanonbluss, with 51 percent of the ball.
As neither team had managed to win, extra time was called.
During the break, Hammerseng's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to
excellent organisation.
91 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Hammerseng substitution.
J. Wolkow came on for
C. Mayol.
Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 98 minutes into the match left Hammerseng's
P. Forcadell completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors.
Game over, Hammerseng win!
The most dominating Kanonbluss player was without a doubt
K. Lemm.
J. Aventura turned in a dismal performance, however.
Hammerseng's top performer was clearly
C. Ignat.
T. Pedersen on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 0 - 1.
