Verde clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. ACTM demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. After 7 minutes, ACTM put themselves up 0 - 1, as J. Guerra finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. A. Cicco behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 10 minutes as he gave the ball away to O. Ferro. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Verde made it 1 - 1 as B. de la Dehesa got a touch to the floated corner kick and flicked the ball to M. Gilardi who whipped a low drive in off the far post. ACTM took the lead after 27 minutes making the score 1 - 2. M. Saleppichi placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. ACTM had most of the ball, with 69 percent of possession.

After 46 minutes, the ACTM players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. With 49 minutes played, ACTM put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was T. Illáns. The ACTM players could smell victory in the air. T. Illáns wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for M. Epelbaum after 60 minutes. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from M. Saleppichi after 63 minutes, and prevented ACTM from going up another goal. Good work by the Verde defensive line after 64 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found I. Hunger alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. The coach of ACTM was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 70 minutes, C. Orellana came on for A. Giovinazzo. J. Guerra could have put his team up another goal 71 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. ACTM came close to extending their lead as J. Guerra delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 74 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. C. Elena wanted to play on, but the ACTM coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by N. Pirrone. Possession in this half belonged to ACTM, who controlled the ball 71 percent of the time.

Most important Verde player was V. Lucini. B. de la Dehesa turned in a dismal performance, however. ACTM's top performer was clearly C. Orellana. On the other hand, D. Medda's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 3.
