F.c.S.S used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. For their match strategy, Cetatea had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, G. Tellini scored for F.c.S.S putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 4 minutes. F.c.S.S's J. Gullius saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 5 minutes. Halftime score was 1 - 0. F.c.S.S had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

L. Martinet could have increased the lead after 48 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Always quick on his feet, Cetatea's L. Motz sped down the field after 50 minutes, but his pass to V. Comelles was just a bit too far ahead for him to get a good shot off. V. Sava made a nice dash down the wing after 61 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. F.c.S.S were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. G. Tellini had a fantastic opportunity to put F.c.S.S up another goal 62 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. The visitors refused to give in and, after 67 minutes, M. Zidar evened things up as he finished off a perfect pass from the right. 1 - 1 Possession in this half belonged to Cetatea, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

F.c.S.S's top performer was clearly J. Gullius. L. Foncueva turned in a dismal performance, however. V. Sava performed admirably for Cetatea. V. Comelles on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 1.
