Zv claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

53 minutes into the game A. Yermiyan could see that the opposing goalie was out of position and tried an unexpected lob that the keeper just barely reached. The rebound went to C. Welling who failed to hit the target. The coach of Zv was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 65 minutes, F. Ponce came on for E. Dapoto. After 69 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave A. Savino a chance to increase the lead for Zv, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. After 70 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed A. Savino to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for A. Savino. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Zv lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. O. Ščuka finished off the counterattack of Zv from the left rather easily, making the score 0 - 5. 76 minutes in, Sausiņi's L. Ralston received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. O. Ščuka was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Zv's S. Hayal had to come off the bench. C. Welling's speed was clear to see after 80 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released A. Savino who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 0 - 6. After 81 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for M. Gregnanin who increased Zv's lead to 0 - 7. Encouraged by their lead, after 88 minutes the Zv coach asked J. García Peñuela to change positions with E. Zainea. After 89 minutes, the Zv players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

Sausiņi's best player was I. Ladyzhenskiy. On the other hand, T. van Creveld's play was disheartening. The most dominating Zv player was without a doubt F. Ponce. M. Gregnanin turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 7.
