20000 punters turned up at Morbidona Stadium, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Magnani got himself booked for a foul. Morbidona's Z. Hunyadi left the field after 39 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was L. Papierski. 41 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Morbidona to take the lead after a good cross from the right found L. Palacios alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. There was concern in the stands when, at the 42 minute mark, Amala's G. Heene hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Morbidona had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.

Morbidona broke through on the left 67 minutes into the game, with J. Magnani firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead. The game was close to savage at times, and Morbidona's J. Magnani received a second yellow card after 68 minutes; his ticket out of the game. L. Papierski could have put Morbidona up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 80 minutes. With 84 minutes played, Morbidona's L. Papierski almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. Possession in this half belonged to Morbidona, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

Most important Morbidona player was F. Baldi. V. Romi turned in a dismal performance, however. Amala's best player was F. Hammershaimb. However, M. Cilveli made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 1.
