Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 23285 to San Isidro Stadium. Otto Schneider was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Tiago Sobral and Urban Halen. Isidro decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Hubka - Fterougatos, Trincado, Rizzoli - Budzyński, Olenling, Dokov, Aguilar, Grbavčic - Stellmacher, Nurmukhametov.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for torvboy. The following players had been chosen: Khadri - Casado, Nechita, Chirivì - Ruiter, Nederblom, Passanti, Rannamäe, Chomont - Balling, Taini.

torvboy had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 13 minutes in when C. Taini came up alone against V. Hubka who managed a block. Isidro took the lead 16 minutes in, as A. Nurmukhametov broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. Coming from the right, P. Trincado almost managed to score another goal for Isidro, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. The visiting team's J. Ruiter was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 29 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. Z. Chomont managed to make an excellent pass from the flank, but C. Taini was not as skillfull in scoring. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Isidro enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

Isidro's Z. Budzyński tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 82 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from A. Nurmukhametov, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Cheers filled the stadium as A. Aguilar broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 1 to Isidro. After 87 minutes, R. Nechita came close to reducing the score with a free kick aimed near the left post, but V. Hubka warded the ball off to a corner. W. Stellmacher of Isidro was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave N. Fterougatos from Isidro a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 89 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Isidro, with 57 percent of the ball.

A. Aguilar performed admirably for Isidro. However, F. Grbavčic made a disastrous appearance. torvboy's best player was C. Taini. S. Khadri turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
