Demolition mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. causett clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. After 5 minutes Demolition's K. Geraedts limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Demolition, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. They were singing the praises of K. Geraedts 9 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Demolition. Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the causett manager used a brief break in play after 10 minutes to give the players new directives. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Demolition's R. Menheer somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for R. Toma, who struck for 2 - 0. The causett players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. Coming in on the left, G. Iovenitti did everything right to get a goal for causett after 29 minutes, but his finishing shot was stabbed clear by the keeper. N. Brockmeier of Demolition seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 3 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Ü. Düş. The referee showed Demolition's Ü. Düş the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Demolition increased the lead as Ü. Düş struck to make the score 4 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Demolition's R. Toma increased the lead to 5 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 43 minutes. After this, you could see that the players of Demolition were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. It was 5 - 0 at the break. Demolition claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

The head of M. Fossati connected with a corner kick after 64 minutes, and the ball ended up with M. Trevisan of causett who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 5 - 1. The crowd roared its approval when L. Hollander somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by causett's C. Bidoia 65 minutes into the game. As R. Toma had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Demolition player a red card without batting an eyelid. The counterattacks of causett were deadly and 72 minutes into the game, G. Iovenitti received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 5 - 2. Demolition players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. K. Geraedts should probably have put his team up another goal after 83 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by F. Šakić kept the visitors in the game. 84 minutes into the match, causett replied and reduced the lead to 5 - 3. C. Bidoia scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. Possession in this half belonged to Demolition, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

Demolition's top performer was clearly K. Geraedts. L. Hollander was a disappointment, however. The most dominating causett player was without a doubt M. Trevisan. D. Dumitru turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 3.
