Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 13850 at Bradipodromo Arena today. Reinhart Dombrowski was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Danny Roosenboom and Mario Pedroni. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Bradipomissile. Good work by the Salernitara defensive line after 36 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found E. Pettinato alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

59 minutes in, Bradipomissile's G. Di bonito received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Salernitara's E. Pettinato went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 61 minutes, Bradipomissile did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, J. Lemmetyinen was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 0. M. Cesqui of Bradipomissile received a yellow card after 84 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. M. Ermo had a fantastic opportunity to put Bradipomissile up another goal 85 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Possession in this half belonged to Salernitara, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

Most important Bradipomissile player was G. Di bonito. I. Silva Melo turned in a dismal performance, however. Salernitara's best player was E. Pettinato. On the other hand, L. Pettinari's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 0.
