(382171060)

16-06-2012 13.10
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 4469 to
Carmine Fendone.
Remco van Aalst was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Paul-Otto Sojka and
Mark Hasslinger.
SGROSA had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
They fielded: Wiedenbrück - Grooten, Hägele, Ezpeleta, Mendoza - Zaghis, Irbratt, Brito, Dragante - Zennaro, Omarini.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Genoveffa.
Starters: Tagliapietra - Zampaglione, Marchese, Moranduzzo, Pietrucci - Dell'Anna, Manno, Pisauri, Scattina - Toniutti, Melis.
N. Hägele gave SGROSA the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0
SGROSA managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when
B. Irbratt cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
After 37 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
J. Ezpeleta gave the SGROSA supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0.
Confident in their lead, SGROSA's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
M. Dragante increased the lead for SGROSA to 4 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
M. Zennaro squirmed through their central defence after 39 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0.
It was 5 - 0 at the break.
SGROSA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 83 percent.
With 47 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
C. Pietrucci needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
SGROSA solidified their lead at the 59 minute mark, as
P. Mendoza dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 6 - 0.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the SGROSA coach let
A. Chiarini replace
J. Ezpeleta after 60 minutes.
B. Irbratt of SGROSA was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
SGROSA's
N. Hägele had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 62 minutes having been played.
P. Frasson was the replacement.
P. Omarini left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 70 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
R. Dohány was the replacement.
With 70 minutes played, SGROSA put themselves up 7 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
B. Irbratt, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
Cheers filled the stadium as
D. Zaghis broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 8 - 0 to SGROSA.
SGROSA increased the lead as
R. Dohány struck to make the score 9 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in SGROSA's
M. Zennaro increasing the lead to 10 - 0.
SGROSA had most of the ball, with 86 percent of possession.
The most dominating SGROSA player was without a doubt
M. Brito.
However,
P. Frasson made a disastrous appearance.
Genoveffa's top performer was clearly
C. Pietrucci.
A. Marchese on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 10 - 0.
