Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of SGROSA. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 5 minutes allowed P. Mazzei to score for SGROSA. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. SGROSA increased their lead after 24 minutes when B. Irbratt broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, M. Cezza got himself booked. The manager of nunca was not happy. 36 minutes into the game, SGROSA worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. With 39 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed P. Mazzei of SGROSA to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. By now, the players in SGROSA felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Some fine movement on the left led to a SGROSA goal after 43 minutes, making it 0 - 4. M. Brito was noted down as the scorer. 44 minutes into the game, F. Poleggi had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came M. Michelotti. After 44 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as SGROSA found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to weak. Halftime score was 0 - 4. A review of the gameplan helped SGROSA get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. E. Grooten of SGROSA seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 5 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by B. Irbratt. A drive down the left side allowed M. Brito to get in close and score another goal for SGROSA after 50 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 6. 56 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 7 as P. Mendoza finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. J. Ezpeleta wanted to play on, but the SGROSA coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by J. Kasl. The visitors' R. Dohány took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 67 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for SGROSA. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by SGROSA's B. Irbratt put the visitors up 0 - 9 after 69 minutes. R.
