previous 8/10 next 10/10  Taladrador 6 - 1 Tavisa (382887743)

The 49744 spectators at Isla de Resistencia were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Timo Gutermann was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hannes Levisto and Crin Posircã. Taladrador started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Starters: Paasche - Engel, Schindler, Knežević - Pietroń, Prats, Rubio Orduña, Akrivopoulos, Labraña Martinez - Pantelić, Espín.

A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Tavisa. Lineup: Vial - Brodin, Höhle - Berjillos, Álvarez, Tamudo, Pihlborg, Bascompta - Larragoitia, Serrano Crespo, Valladares.

The referee showed Tavisa's P. Valladares the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. J. Espín caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 7 minutes. This gave Taladrador the 1 - 0 lead. Taladrador put themselves up 2 - 0 when E. Engel broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. With 33 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Tavisa showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 2 - 1 when P. Valladares got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. After 36 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and R. Pantelić gave the Taladrador supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 1. 3 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Taladrador, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs B. Schindler found it hard to get back into position. Taladrador solidified their lead at the 51 minute mark, as E. Akrivopoulos dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 1. 55 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as J. Rubio Orduña broke through, making the score 5 - 1 for Taladrador. By now, the players in Taladrador felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 60 minutes, Tavisa switched J. Álvarez with N. Currie, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. After 71 minutes, J. Espín put Taladrador ahead 6 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Taladrador, with 64 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Taladrador player was without a doubt R. Prats. On the other hand, B. Schindler's play was disheartening. Tavisa's top performer was clearly A. Larragoitia. N. Brodin on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 1.
