Fradellos 4 - 1 JVCF
(382991819)

04-08-2012 15.00
Due to an all-day shower, 28195 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at
Carvario Arena.
André Pfaffenrath was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mei Eun-Joo and
Xaime Maestro Líster.
Fradellos had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation.
They fielded: Skogli - Sitar, Helewaut, Čepek - Otero, Kiuru, Nedvěd, Spanaki - Tubert, Espadalé, Batlle.
JVCF decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Zaldívar - Cervatos, Haro, Tudisco - Marín, Casador, Raja, da Conceição, Yepes Monje - Martínez, Galván.
Fradellos clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could.
J. Galván was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace.
With 10 minutes played
K. Nedvěd almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide.
Fradellos's
E. Tubert left the field after 24 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
Ó. Costanti.
The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 39 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from
J. Espadalé, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing.
Fradellos's
Ó. Costanti increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 43 minutes.
Fradellos's
L. Sitar struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 3 - 0 after 44 minutes.
44 minutes in, JVCF's
V. Marín received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
44 minutes into the game,
O. Kiuru had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
F. Font.
F. Font became the new Fradellos captain.
The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0.
Possession was split evenly between the teams.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
J. Čepek squirmed through their central defence after 62 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0.
After this, you could see that the players of Fradellos were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
With 69 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
P. da Conceição needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
70 minutes into the match, JVCF replied and reduced the lead to 4 - 1.
J. Galván scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left.
C. Martínez had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper
F. Skogli was simply unbeatable.
JVCF's
J. Yepes Monje got himself booked for a foul.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by JVCF, with 53 percent of the ball.
Fradellos's top performer was clearly
J. Espadalé.
However,
F. Font made a disastrous appearance.
The most dominating JVCF player was without a doubt
C. Martínez.
A. Zaldívar on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 4 - 1.
