11-08-2012 14.25
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 3389 had shown up at
POSADEROS STADIUN for the match.
Galen Sowell was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Isaac Briceño and
Álvaro Delgado.
POSADEROS started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Nolla - Artia, Puig, Castello, Navarro Ategui - Montoya Heredia, Juan Zuaza, Cuadros, Stoychev - Martínez Delgado, Roncal.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Forza.
Starters: Galtero - Barrero Ortega, Torrecilla, Vidiella, Church - Trandafirescu, Coque, Cabanilla, Moussafir - Meneses, Eguiruren.
The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
T. Montoya Heredia, but the POSADEROS player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0!
After 23 minutes Forza's
P. Vidiella contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game.
F. Cabanilla finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 26 minutes into the match.
Forza's
A. Coque had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 35 minutes having been played.
D. Chan was the replacement.
It wasn't a pretty goal, but the free kick by
E. Artia after 36 minutes somehow found its way past the keeper. POSADEROS takes the lead, 2 - 1!
The home team will be cursing
M. Meneses for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 2 - 2 after 41 minutes.
With 43 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 3 - 2 lead as
J. Martínez Delgado flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
F. Cabanilla from Forza a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 43 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
POSADEROS managed to extend their lead to 4 - 2 when
J. Martínez Delgado cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
4 - 2 was the score after the first half.
POSADEROS claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.
With 48 minutes played, POSADEROS put themselves up 5 - 2 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
J. Martínez Delgado, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
J. Martínez Delgado.
POSADEROS's
M. Cuadros increased the lead to 6 - 2, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 49 minutes.
After this, you could see that the players of POSADEROS were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
64 minutes into the game, Forza's attack got through on the right, but
T. Trandafirescu couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms.
POSADEROS enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.
The most dominating POSADEROS player was without a doubt
T. Montoya Heredia.
P. Nolla was a disappointment, however.
Forza's top performer was clearly
M. Meneses.
However,
P. Vidiella made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 6 - 2.
