Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 48122 at
Haugesund united Arena today.
Fatih Ayaz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by

Haugesund tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.

Haugesund solidified their lead at the 30 minute mark, as
O. Cacchiani dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0.
34 minutes into the match, Maceli replied and reduced the lead to 3 - 1.
S. Gay scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left.
Cheers filled the stadium as
M. Keilhofer broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 1 to Haugesund.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
V. Alfarano squirmed through their central defence after 38 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 1.
By now, the players in Haugesund felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.

After 84 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
H. Haban gave the Haugesund supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 9 - 1.
M. Keilhofer could have increased the lead after 85 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
