previous 1/10 next 3/10  HH 6 - 0 Caribbean (384514278)

33613 spectators arrived at Paulsenplatz-Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Bjarne Brixen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Giuseppino Pedone and Ferhan Tunguç. HH started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. The following players took the field: Bruynooghe - Sari, Allevi - Keene, Boettner, Knaudt, Veltins, Zlatković - Cozma, Mauler, Turtù.

Caribbean tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Olivares - Carioca, Planas, Soares, Abranches - Spinosa, Dissau, Klupta, Nettel - Roca, Rimstad.

HH took the lead after 17 minutes as a result of V. Turtù's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. H. Boettner squirmed through their central defence after 30 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as HH scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for G. Knaudt after 34 minutes. After this, you could see that the players of HH were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. It was 3 - 0 at the break. HH claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

After 60 minutes, Caribbean switched S. Rimstad with A. Chanteiro, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. HH increased the lead as H. Boettner struck to make the score 4 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. The bench was restless, and with 70 minutes passed Caribbean's coach gave J. Tous the opportunity the player had been hoping for. R. Klupta reluctantly left the field. In an effort to secure the lead, HH changed their tactic after 70 minutes. Coming from the right, G. Cozma almost managed to score another goal for HH, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in HH's G. Knaudt increasing the lead to 5 - 0. A. Chanteiro's tried to storm through the defence after 85 minutes, but R. Sari was just too fast to shake off and the rest of the defence got back to cover. A. Chanteiro could've grabbed a goal for Caribbean 86 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. Cheers filled the stadium as V. Turtù broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 0 to HH. Possession in this half belonged to HH, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

The most dominating HH player was without a doubt L. Mauler. T. Keene turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Caribbean player was R. Dissau. L. Olivares on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 0.
