The players of Tao-te-king now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 1 - 3 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Tao-te-king, with 58 percent of the ball.

After 68 minutes, B. Pandey sprinted between the opposing defenders and squared the ball, but the keeper deflected W. Batto's shot. L. Quispel found it hard to catch his breath today in the stifling heat. After 82 minutes of game time, N. Vliegenthart had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but P. Vaquero was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. Possession in this half belonged to Tao-te-king, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.
