44598 spectators had come to
FC Pragg-Jenaz Arena this cloudy day.
Heiko Baerensprung was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Even Merkesdal and
Radosław Siniecki.
Pragg-Jenaz started off with a 2-5-3 lineup.
Lineup: Iancu - Tallaksen, Röyskä - Bocchio, Ratzlaff, Ziglin, Weisshaupt, Stegmeier - Dabessa, Destrebecq, Laudadio.
A 4-5-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Knutu/Teret.
Starters: Cardozo - Filipp, Palmiotto, Péris, Nürbauer - Yousef, Pleyán, Schönhammer, Claesson, Bourgin - Povilianskas.
It was obvious that Knutu/Teret were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic.
Slack defending gave Pragg-Jenaz a chance to take the lead with 5 minutes played, but
R. Weisshaupt's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition.
Knutu/Teret almost scored after a swift counterattack 6 minutes into the game, but
J. Claesson put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal.
The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
R. Destrebecq, but the Pragg-Jenaz player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0!
The home side's
R. Weisshaupt came close to extending the lead 13 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but
R. Cardozo managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop.
After 14 minutes, the defensive line of Knutu/Teret created a counterattack through the middle that gave
J. Bourgin a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
G. Laudadio squirmed through their central defence after 15 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0.
A great save by keeper
R. Cardozo after 18 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
H. Ratzlaff struck from the left with a real cannonball.

The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Knutu/Teret's coach gave
D. Nica the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
R. Schönhammer reluctantly left the field.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Pragg-Jenaz to 3 - 0 as
H. Ratzlaff finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
D. Ziglin wanted to play on, but the Pragg-Jenaz coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 50 minutes into the game by
B. Pastuszka.
S. Bocchio left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 50 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
J. Ervilha was the replacement.
With things not going too well on the field, the Knutu/Teret coach made the decision to swap the positions of
T. Filipp and
J. Claesson with 60 minutes played.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Knutu/Teret's
J. Claesson was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 60 minutes.
H. Salmen was given a chance to change things around.
74 minutes into the game, Knutu/Teret seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
inadequate.
Pragg-Jenaz solidified their lead at the 78 minute mark, as
O. Stegmeier dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0.
Confident in their lead, Pragg-Jenaz's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
Pragg-Jenaz's
J. Röyskä was shown a yellow card after 79 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
After 80 minutes, Knutu/Teret switched
E. Yousef with
C. Goldiger, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
R. Cardozo was caught napping as
R. Destrebecq lifted a ball over him following a free kick, but the ball hit the bar, rebounding into the keeper's arms.
86 minutes into the game, Pragg-Jenaz were awarded a penalty that
R. Destrebecq turned into 5 - 0 without a problem.
Pragg-Jenaz were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 87 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by
R. Destrebecq. 6 - 0 for the home side.
That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for
R. Destrebecq.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the Pragg-Jenaz coach let
F. Cattaneo replace
M. Iancu after 89 minutes.
Pragg-Jenaz enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 68 percent of possession.
Pragg-Jenaz's top performer was clearly
E. Dabessa.
J. Ervilha was a disappointment, however.
R. Povilianskas performed admirably for Knutu/Teret.
However,
H. Salmen made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 6 - 0.
