(385037626)

14-07-2012 17.40
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 12000 had shown up at
Stade for the match.
Zenon Korycki was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Tomi Pastila and
Medas Karčauskas.
Fcd0n had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Covilhã - Gunnarsson, Prime, Diniz Neto, Schoger - Bentili, Zängerle, Drakakis, Benages - Gradl, Plault.
Calimera decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
Lineup: Henkle - Santinello, Unholz, Sprunger, Goldiger - Schwab, Jelk, Huet, Kölliker - Bianchi, Augsburger.
With 24 minutes played,
A. Gunnarsson of Fcd0n fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
29 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Fcd0n was
O. Zängerle.
L. Drakakis of Fcd0n was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
L. Drakakis could have increased the lead after 33 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
Calimera were pushed back, and had many dangerous counterattacks. An impressive one came 34 minutes into the match, but
A. Santinello narrowly missed the free kick attempt that was awarded as a result of a foul.
The coach of Fcd0n was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 40 minutes,
J. Schwinghammer came on for
M. Bentili.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Fcd0n, with 56 percent of the ball.
With 48 minutes having been played, his teammates looked on in disbelief as
J. Unholz thoughtlessly misplayed the ball, setting up Fcd0n's
L. Benages for an easy goal. 2 - 0.
After this, you could see that the players of Fcd0n were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
With 62 minutes gone,
F. Bianchi suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Calimera caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring.
With 80 minutes played,
J. Prime could have brought this one home for Fcd0n as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Fcd0n increased the lead as
J. Schoger struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
After 83 minutes, Fcd0n were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise.
E. Diniz Neto did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans.
Fcd0n had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.
Fcd0n's best player was
M. Plault.
However,
J. Prime made a disastrous appearance.
The most dominating Calimera player was without a doubt
A. Jelk.
J. Unholz turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 3 - 0.
