Gomez found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 2 - 0. After 32 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Lacrymosa was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. F. Imboden's lack of experience almost gave Lacrymosa a goal after 36 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. 37 minutes into the game, Lacrymosa were awarded a penalty that C. Gomez turned into 3 - 0 without a problem. Lacrymosa's T. Naffzinger was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 38 minutes. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Lacrymosa claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 80 percent.

Roschmann broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. R. Tempini of FuJu was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The head of L. Noisette connected with a corner kick after 75 minutes, and the ball ended up with J. Reist of Lacrymosa who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 6 - 0. Lacrymosa managed to extend their lead to 7 - 0 when C. Gomez cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. 80 minutes into the match C. Gomez put Lacrymosa ahead 8 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. Cheers filled the stadium as J. Lanini broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 9 - 0 to Lacrymosa. Lacrymosa enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 86 percent of possession.

The most dominating Lacrymosa player was without a doubt L. Noisette. G. Sitler was a disappointment, however. FuJu's top performer was clearly W. Dübendorfer. J. Squillace on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 9 - 0.
