The visitors' H. Söderstrand was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 24 minutes. 1 - 2 was the score with 33 minutes played, after N. Eke cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for S.L.Matarraque. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to S.L.Matarraque, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

G. Ciocârlan received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 49 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 3. The S.L.Matarraque fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. S.L.Matarraque almost scored after a counterattack 70 minutes into the match, but N. Eke took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net.
