Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and 방학 운동장 saw a crowd turnout of 89358. Jory ter Heide was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Danny Crozier and Juan Torregrosa. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for BangHak. Lineup: Kiković - Barreteau, Deisl, Ilse - Hangl, Van den Bergh, Deckert, Grimm, Zeilberger - Park, Vallotton.

C&S decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. They fielded: De Wilder - Glandorp, Budzeľ, Won, Jung - Choi, Yun, Kim, Cho, Hwang - Klaczak.

After a fine move down the middle M. Hangl nearly gave the home side a goal after 18 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 32 minutes into the match, and H. Jung wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. 38 minutes into the match, BangHak's O. Vallotton maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when H. Hwang slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against F. Kiković, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, U. Zeilberger scored for BangHak putting them ahead 2 - 1, after 40 minutes. C&S were close to putting the equaliser away after 41 minutes as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to H. Hwang in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line. 43 minutes in, C&S's K. Kim received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. C&S's right side looked dangerous 43 minutes in, but F. Kiković made a good save on P. Klaczak's hard shot to the top corner. 2 - 1 was the score after the first half. BangHak had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

BangHak's O. Vallotton swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. After 60 minutes, BangHak felt secure enough to make a tactical change. T. Grimm and C. Park assumed each others positions on the field. In the lead, BangHak adjusted their style of play with 60 minutes gone. The BangHak players could smell victory in the air. C. Park wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for E. Sterl after 60 minutes. BangHak had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 61 minutes, but R. Van den Bergh's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. S. Barreteau almost put BangHak ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. BangHak's T. Grimm saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 64 minutes. BangHak claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

The most dominating BangHak player was without a doubt C. Deckert. P. Deisl turned in a dismal performance, however. C&S's best player was Y. Yun. On the other hand, N. De Wilder's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 1.
