A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for barek_sc. Starters: Enebo - Feroce, Olaechea, Riggio - Grøn Nielsen, Pietroń, Pilecki, Pietruszkiewicz, Al-Raisi - Haugen, Gustavsson.

For their match strategy, niebieska had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. barek_sc used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. After 2 minutes, F. Kuriačka came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving niebieska the lead. niebieska were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 15 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by D. Becker-Hussong. 2 - 0 for the home side. After 19 minutes niebieska's P. Barata limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. J. Gustavsson could've grabbed a goal for barek_sc 28 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. barek_sc players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. It was 2 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to barek_sc, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

After 47 minutes, barek_sc switched L. Haugen with R. Miguel Conde, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. G. Riggio became the new barek_sc captain. The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 63 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving J. Gustavsson completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper. Coming from the right, R. Unierzyński almost managed to score another goal for niebieska, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. The crowd roared its approval when R. Crowley somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by barek_sc's A. Al-Raisi 72 minutes into the game. Good work by the niebieska defensive line after 73 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found D. Rydzewski alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. barek_sc had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. barek_sc were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. R. Miguel Conde had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper R. Crowley was simply unbeatable. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by barek_sc, with 57 percent of the ball.

Most important niebieska player was S. Mein. On the other hand, P. Barata's play was disheartening. barek_sc's top performer was clearly M. Pietroń. C. Enebo turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 0.
