previous 3/10 next 5/10  Sporting 2 - 3 Rappl-Speer (387483715)

30481 spectators arrived at Crembs Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Ola Olofsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Levi Claesson and Anselmo Tschudi. All of Niederösterreich was shut down for the day, as fans of both clubs came to the derby. Sporting started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Vigato - Galas, Dellacha, Rangelov - Bezvoda, Hernáiz, Matujewicz, Givens, Cambra - Vissing, Harlay.

Rappl-Speer decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Lineup: Kova - Kellermann, Senna, Mendeš - Atıf, Steinbauer, Mark, Konsel, 群光 (Qunguang) - Delarue, Milanov.

The visitors grabbed the lead after N. Senna's free kick succeeded, resulting in a score of 0 - 1. With 33 minutes played, Rappl-Speer's N. Senna missed a penalty when the keeper made a premature dive in the right direction, and palmed the ball out of the way. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sporting, with 51 percent of the ball.

The head of C. Vissing connected with a corner kick after 54 minutes, and the ball ended up with O. Galas of Sporting who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 1 - 1. 55 minutes into the game, Sporting wanted to bring some new energy to their game. C. Vissing gave E. Achenbach a quick hug as he left the field. Rappl-Speer took the lead after 71 minutes making the score 1 - 2. H. Mark placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. H. Mark wanted to play on, but the Rappl-Speer coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by X. Tourón. Given a free kick close to the byline, Sporting tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let E. Achenbach slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 2, 83 minutes into the game. Rappl-Speer's C. Atıf gave the visitors a 2 - 3 lead after 85 minutes with a superb strike from the right. Possession in this half belonged to Rappl-Speer, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

E. Achenbach performed admirably for Sporting. However, V. Cambra made a disastrous appearance. Rappl-Speer's best player was V. Milanov. On the other hand, 管. 群光 (Qunguang) 's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 3.
