Kasztany showed off their creative tactics. Many thought J. Cinelli ought to have been awarded a penalty 7 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around J. Truchet after a determined run through the middle. M. Nycz had a good opportunity to give Kasztany the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. M. Tschirren made a nice dash down the wing after 31 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when H. Teidemann was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 32 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! 39 minutes into the match, the visiting Kasztany made the score 0 - 1 after Z. Palazzi executed a perfect free kick. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Kasztany claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

T. Kettula made a superb strike after 49 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. The referee showed (Barc)elona's R. Stokłosa the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 80 minutes Kasztany's H. Teidemann contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 81 minutes, Kasztany tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. Kasztany's counterattacks were lethal to the opposing defence, allowing M. Nycz to score easily from the right flank for 0 - 2. M. de Blas received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 85 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Kasztany fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. M. Skorupa of (Barc)elona received a yellow card after 86 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 87 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave S. Elçi a chance to increase the lead for Kasztany, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. By now, the players in Kasztany felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Possession in this half belonged to Kasztany, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

M. Tschirren performed admirably for (Barc)elona. However, R. Stokłosa made a disastrous appearance. Kasztany's top performer was clearly M. de Blas. On the other hand, H. Teidemann's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 4.
