Dark skies made the crowd of 55720 at .El Loco Martin Palermo.. a little nervous, but the rain held off. El_12_F.C. solidified their lead at the 14 minute mark, as P. Gattuso dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as El_12_F.C. scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for M. Mangin after 29 minutes. After 30 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and F. Mata gave the El_12_F.C. supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0. 31 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as S. Serbaz broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for El_12_F.C.. By now, the players in El_12_F.C. felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Halftime score was 5 - 0. El_12_F.C. enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

El_12_F.C. players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. After 72 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by J. Carimarí might have resulted in another goal for El_12_F.C.. However, J. Roca made a spectacular save. El_12_F.C. were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Cheers filled the stadium as P. Gattuso broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 0 to El_12_F.C.. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of El_12_F.C. to 7 - 0 as F. Mata finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for F. Mata. Possession in this half belonged to El_12_F.C., who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.

Most important El_12_F.C. player was R. Garí. R. Alaniz turned in a dismal performance, however. Auliva's top performer was clearly J. Vaqué. However, J. Roca made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 7 - 0.
