previous 1/10 next 3/10  Juve 8 - 0 Nickdude (389481948)

Dark skies made the crowd of 26495 at FRZ Juve Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Maximilien Ysewyn was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mikkel Nygård Ståle and Florent Cassan. Juve had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Nyholm - Stjernholm, Elkjær, Tøgersen - Danielsen, Tang, Thorning, Kofoed, Nissen - Elkjær, Jakobs-Kohn.

Nickdude decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. The following players took the field: Feddersen - Kongaa, Elmose, Ravnsbæk, Schytz - Hallum, Svenningsen, Tønnesen, Bülow - Vorre, Åberg.

After 11 minutes, W. Danielsen came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Juve the lead. The score became 2 - 0 at 21 minutes into the game, when Juve were given a penalty which W. Danielsen blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! M. Kofoed of Juve was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. With 26 minutes played, Juve put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. Elkjær, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. T. Haaning was called on to replace Juve's I. Nyholm after 27 minutes following a nasty collision. 33 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as W. Danielsen broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Juve. This third goal completed a hattrick for W. Danielsen. 4 - 0 was the halftime score. Juve claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 88 percent.

Things were going to get worse for the visitors. M. Kofoed squirmed through their central defence after 54 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0. Confident in their lead, Juve's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Juve put themselves up 6 - 0 when M. Elkjær broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. After 69 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by B. Stjernholm might have resulted in another goal for Juve. However, B. Feddersen made a spectacular save. W. Danielsen increased Juve's lead to 7 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. After 73 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and M. Kofoed gave the Juve supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 8 - 0. Juve had most of the ball, with 90 percent of possession.

The most dominating Juve player was without a doubt M. Tang. T. Haaning turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Nickdude player was B. Vorre. B. Feddersen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 8 - 0.
